Airwolf
Airwolf ist eine US-amerikanische Fernsehserie, die 1984 beim US-Broadcaster CBS uraufgeführt wurde. Die Serie dreht sich um die Missionen des Piloten Stringfellow Huckleberry Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent) und seinem Ziehvater und Freund Dominic Santini (Ernest Borgnine), die mit dem geheimen Kampfhubschrauber Airwolf Missionen und Aufträge erfüllen.
Nach drei Staffeln stieg CBS aus dem Projekt aus und USA Network produzierte eine vierte Staffel im Jahre 1987. Aus Kostengründen wurden die Hauptdarsteller und die Thematik abgeändert. Die Serie ist als Airwolf II bekannt.

Die Serie Airwolf stammt von Donald P. Bellisario. Komponisten der Serie sind Sylvester Levay und Udi Harpaz. Die Produktionsfirmen sind Universal Television, Belisarius Productions, MCA TV und Atlantis Communications. Die Serie lief in den USA zwischen 22. Januar 1984 und 7. August 1987 und brachte es auf 80 Episoden bei vier Staffeln. Die Serie wurde ab 22. April 1986 in Deutschland zuerst auf Sat.1 ausgestrahlt.
